Rising Card – Impromptu

A classic of magic you can perform close-up and on the street.
Let your spectator examine and shuffle the deck, then cut it into three piles. Have a card selected from one of the piles, while you scoop up the other two. Return the selection to the deck, and put the deck in the card box.

Under all these test conditions, the selected card rises out of the box – all on its own!
You can even have the card and deck examined after the effect!
